Powder tester PT-X
Hosokawa Micron Powdertester PT-X
The Hosokawa Micron Powder Characteristics Tester uses the methods developed by Ralph L. Carr (Carr Indices) to determine the “Flowability & Floodability” of dry powders solids. The model PT-X is the latest design of the Powder Tester which utilizing state of the art features to identify the characteristics of powdered samples for a wide range of application fields.
Optisizer
Inline Particle Size Analysis with the Optisizer A new, dry powder, in-process particle sizing system available from Hosokawa Micron offers high performance accuracy within an easy to use and compact unit that costs a fraction of other systems available on the market. Using established laser diffraction technology from Xoptix the Optisizer presents fast, reliable, reproducible and easy to understand and interpret particle size distribution data. The ability to measure particle size distribution during the production process allows engineers to quickly assess the effects of any process change on the finished product. The Optisizer allows data to be automatically fed to the plant and control system to allow for optimum process control.
